Who killed the sun?

Said Twilight.
"Pulled him down into the night."

"And I saw him die."
Said Urd.
"His blood spread across the pale blue sky."

"He's not dead."
Cried the Moon.
"Here I'll show you his light"
And she shined ever so bright!

Until Dawn came
A terrible sight
Burning away at the kingdom of night.
