A Bloated Cow

I saw a bloated cow today
As we drove
It's belly huge soft and grey
Ready to burst.
It wobbled in the back of a pick-up-truck.
A methane filled balloon.
A filthy fat stinking carcass.
Dinner for twisted ravenous grubs.

Bound for a carnage filled place
Full of pets neglected, abused, dead.
Great machines will push bones
Around and around
While all the flesh is absorbed
Into the barren ground.
